This resort is all about the beach. It is on Matira point which juts out from Matira beach into the lagoon. The crystal clear aqua waters here have a soft white sandy bottom for fantastic swimming. It is just a kayak ride across the bay to the famed "coral gardens" for snorkeling. It is within walking distance of several small restaurants and a market for snacks and water. Another big plus is that guests can take the shuttle boat (small fee) over to their sister property, the five star Intercontinental Resort & Thalasso Spa, where they can use the pool and beach. This property has recently been completely renovated. The Le Moana is a beautiful relaxed beachy resort with some action.
